Floor mounted Hand Controls offer an alternative to the traditional column mounted push / pull controls, usually mounted to the left hand side of the drivers seat and are operated by pushing to brake and pulling to accelerate. they can be mounted with an array of secondary controls including indicators, dip/main beam, horn, cruise control, wipers etc. the controls also have a button operated hold on brake for safe parking or prolonged stationary periods in traffic.
Floor Mounted controls are manufactured from steel plate and tube and are mounted to the floor or part of the seat frame by means of an adaptor plate. A rod assembly joins the operating lever to the brake pedal and a cable assembly activates the throttle. The handle is manufactured from ABS plastic and can be supplied in differing finishes at extra cost. various switches are mounted around the handle assembly for the operation of secondary controls. the operating lever is finished with an ABS shroud.
